I am a VERY long-time fan of you and Usagi. My first UY issue was #3 of your Fantagraphics Run. I especially like collecting your signed/numbered hardbacks.
I hope you are taking care of yourself in these risky, anxious times. People our age cannot be too careful these days.
Best wishes for you and your family — Chip Shepherd, Houston, TX

Please, stay safe and healthy!
Dear Stan,
I’ve been a fan of yours since I was 18 (now 50!) and have the Fantagraphics series 1 through 17 (back when I was collecting comics – my friend who was an avid collector saw the #1 and bought it for me (1987 or 88) because of the name Yojimbo – my friends had been calling me Jimbo, but shortened afterwards to Yebo). Now my family (I have 5 boys and 1 girl – all huge fans) have purchased all of the compilations (I think 6?) and have read/reread them all. You are amazing and so appreciate all that you do!

Dear Jim,
Thank you for your message and for your encouraging words. It is always touching to hear how my stories are passed down to the next generation. May this new year be one of peace and joy for you and your family.
Sincerely,
